Born in 1972, the artist has devoted his life to the timeless art of Islamic calligraphy, mastering its delicate balance between spirituality and aesthetics. Holding a Certificate in Arabic Calligraphy and a specialized Certificate of Calligraphy from Turkey, his formative years were marked by rigorous training under both traditional and contemporary influences, blending classical scripts with a deeply personal expression of form and rhythm.
His distinguished career began at an early age, with his participation in the International Calligraphy Competition organized by IRCICA, Turkey (2000), where he emerged among the notable participants. The same year, he was honored with the Second Prize in a national calligraphy competition held by the Calligraphic Artists Guild, Lahore, and received the award from the President of Pakistan — a recognition that firmly established his position among the country’s promising calligraphers.
Since then, his artistic journey has been illuminated by numerous exhibitions across Pakistan and abroad. His solo exhibitions include CROWEATERS Gallery (Lahore, 2001), Green Art Gallery (Dubai, 2003), Art Scene Gallery (Karachi, 2008), and OCEAN ART Gallery (Lahore, 2010). His group participations span prestigious venues such as the Lahore Museum (2002), Ejaz Galleries (2004, 2009), Alhamra Arts Council (2005, 2009), National Art Gallery, Islamabad (2005), and international platforms like Malaysia (2005).
From the inaugural shows of Hamail Gallery in Defence (2001) and Gulberg (2006), to national exhibitions at Faisalabad Arts Council, Y.M.C.A., and Punjab Arts Council, his calligraphic works have consistently engaged audiences through their eloquent synthesis of tradition, rhythm, and divine inspiration.
