Our Story,
Our Passion
A contemporary art destination in the heart of Lahore, bridging artists and collectors across the world.
The Muse Approach
Muse Art Gallery was founded with a singular vision, to cultivate a space where contemporary art thrives and artists are empowered to share their voice with the world. Based in Gulberg, Lahore, it has evolved into one of Pakistan’s most dynamic art destinations. Representing over 600 artists across seven disciplines, including painting, calligraphy, sculpture, miniature, ceramics, prints, and photography, Muse presents a carefully curated program that reflects the richness of South Asian and international contemporary art.
At its core, Muse extends beyond exhibition-making by actively engaging with a diverse range of curators, inviting distinct perspectives and critical dialogue. Through this collaborative approach, the gallery fosters an environment where both artists and curators can shape narratives, contributing to a more refined and globally resonant contemporary art ecosystem.

We place artists at the core of our practice, offering considered representation, meaningful visibility, and direct engagement with a global audience of collectors and institutions.
International Dialogue
Rooted in Lahore yet globally connected, we cultivate relationships that position artists within an international context fostering exchange across cultures, disciplines, and markets.
Multidisciplinary Expression
Spanning painting, calligraphy, sculpture, miniature, ceramics, prints, and photography, our program reflects a nuanced spectrum of contemporary visual language.
The Story So Far
An evolving journey, from Lahore to a global presence in contemporary art.

The Beginning
Muse Art Gallery was founded with a singular vision to create a space where contemporary art could thrive and artists could share their voice with clarity and purpose. Rooted in Lahore, it began as an intimate yet ambitious platform.

Growing Community
What began as a focused initiative evolved into a dynamic network of artists, collectors, and patrons shaped by trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to artistic excellence. This spirit is reflected in landmark exhibitions such as our Women’s Day showcases, bringing together 54 artists in 2025 and expanding to 96 in 2026. Now among the largest celebrations of women artists within the contemporary art landscape.
Going Digital
Embracing a digital presence allowed Muse to extend beyond physical boundaries offering wider accessibility, connecting with global audiences, and redefining how art is experienced and collected.

International Reach
Through cross cultural collaborations and exhibitions such as Synergy and Interweave, Muse expanded its dialogue bringing together local and international artists within a global contemporary context. Featuring compelling works by Nigerian artists, Synergy marked a significant milestone, its success paving the way for Interweave in 2026, a more intimate two-person exhibition that further deepened this exchange.

Expanding Horizons
With an evolving curatorial vision, Muse began to explore new formats, voices, and narratives collaborating with leading curators across the industry to introduce external perspectives and expand opportunities for artistic exchange. This approach has allowed the gallery to engage with contemporary art in more layered and dynamic ways. This direction was exemplified through its involvement in the NCA Triennale, where a thoughtful dialogue was created between masters such as Sadequain, Mansoor Rahi, Shahid Jalal, Allah Bux, and Anwar Maqsood, and a new generation of emerging artists, bridging legacy with the future of artistic practice.

A New Chapter
Today, Muse stands as an ever-evolving platform shaped by innovation, collaboration, and a forward-thinking vision. What began as a singular space has grown into a dynamic ecosystem that continuously adapts to the shifting language of contemporary art. Through its commitment to nurturing artists and engaging diverse curatorial voices, Muse creates meaningful opportunities for both expression and dialogue, positioning itself not only as a gallery, but as a catalyst for ideas, experimentation, and cultural exchange.
